The ARINC 400 series and its successor ARINC 600 series specifications describe guidelines for installation, wiring, data buses, and databases in aircraft systems. In implementation of wiring, the system requires rack and panel connectors that accommodate wire to wire, wire to pcb, fiber optic capability, etc. interconnections. These connectors are designed to meet not only the ARINC specifications but Mil-C-81659 requirements.
Wings is proud to offer connectors meeting both ARINC 404 and ARINC 600 specifications. They come in a variety of shell sizes, environmentally sealed or unsealed versions, RFI capability, and with a number of different inserts that accommodate power, signal, coax, and quadrax contacts, as well as fiber optic capability. These contacts can populate inserts either individually or in combinations of power, signal, coax, etc. contacts in an individual insert. The shells have a selection of polarization keys to protect against miss-mating.
Wings technical experts are available to help you choose the correct connector for your application; simple go to “contact us” and we will be at your disposal. If you know the part number that you need, please enter it into the “search” box above.
